Who We Are
FAFO began in 1966 with a group of community members who wanted to bring art to Marion County. Since then, it has been putting on the annual Arts Festival and — since 1988 — the Symphony Under The Stars. FAFO's mission is to promote the Fine Arts and enhance art education within our community.

We’re looking for detail-oriented, logistical leaders who can bring energy, organization, and creativity to the table—especially as we plan and execute our two signature events: the Ocala Arts Festival and Symphony Under the Stars. As a board member you’ll play a key role in shaping the direction of our nonprofit, supporting the arts in Ocala, and working alongside a dedicated team to bring vibrant, community-centered events to life. If you love the arts and have a knack for making things happen we’d love to hear from you!
